Underwater Photographs from Raja Ampat Indonesia taken in November & December 2004 from our first liveaboard small group diving trips aboard SMY Ondina.

This is only a small selection of underwater photographs from Raja Ampat. There are simply too many good photos to put in online galleries. In 2004 we chartered the Indonesian liveaboard for the first time. 22 nights/ 24 days of diving in Raja Ampat. We split the dates into two trips, one of 12 nights and one of 10 nights. For the trip we hired special guides and asked the Ondina crew to prepare a special menu suited to the food preferences of the group. Most of the divers met in Manado and flew together from there to Sorong where they were picked up by the ship's crew and transfered to the ship. We arranged wholesale air flights at a group rate from the USA for divers on the trip. An Indonesian travel agent arranged flights within Indonesia, overnights in hotels and some side trips for us and for people in the group. We handle all these arrangements for people who join us on our charters. We have again chartered SMY Ondina for trips through 2014 (perhaps beyond).
