There were many lionfish at this site, several species. Some of the small ones would rest in the black coral bushes and fans. The larger lionfish liked to hunt with us and were very curious. I had to shoo lionfish away from some of our photographers who were shooing nudibranch photos so that they didn't accidently upset the lionfish and get zapped by the poisonous dorsal spines.
