Jay's Blenny, Irian Jaya Indonesia.

My old (as in long ago) dive buddy, Jay, found this blenny perched up on a soft coral. It was attentive but not afraid... I took several shots moving closer with each one until I had it nearly full frame with my 105mm lens. Usually you find these blennies in a hole or a shell with only their heads exposed. He is quite a handsome devil ! I had the pleasure of meeting Jay for the first time in Irian Jaya in 1990 and visiting again for hiking in the mountains with Jay in 1994.
