Raja Ampat 2010
Each year I organize and accompany a few specialty trips to the best dive spots in Indonesia. I've been doing this since 1994.
These 100% Raja Ampat trips are the best of the best.
Nearly very week I receive emails from our clients telling me how my Raja Ampat trips have spoiled them for the Caribbean, Fiji and other dive destinations. They report back "no fishes", "no critters".

On every City Seahorse charter we will try for 4+dives/day. Unlimited diving time. Staying at the good sites for photography, video and adventure and missing the bad sites. Trip Price Includes:
- 11 days & nights
- liveaboard accommodations in private cabin with A/C, ensuite bath, double share
- 4+ dives per day
- 1:3 or 1:4 guide to diver ratio
- 4 meals per day + afternoon snack, 24 hr. free snacks, tea, coffee & bottled water
- Limited to total 12 guest divers
- On site trip organizer/leader to supervise & assist with problems
- transfers between the airport and ship
- ship fees and taxes
- your choice of aluminum or steel tank, weights & weight belt
Not Included:
- Air travel to/from Indonesia or to Sorong
- any personal travel expenses (meals, hotel overnights, etc.)
- ship fee (fuel surcharge, park permit) of 100 euro
- diver tags & tourist fees ($85)
- dive gear rental, massage, extra drinks on board
- crew tips
I currently have a guaranteed single cabin available on both trips (extra cost). Unfortunately one of our repeat guests had to cancel his single cabin for the Nov 25 trip due to a surgery.

Komodo - July / August 2010
- Two Trips - City Seahorse Charters
July 19-31, Bali - Bima, Komodo/Rinca - 12 days
 The last 2 spaces on a City Seahorse charter.
Limited to 12 divers.
$3755 + 100euro ($150) fees
This is one of my special charters specially organized for repeat guests. I have only 2 spaces available for qualified first-time-with-us divers.
This trip will be organized for best photography and video opportunities. Our plan is to stay longer at the best sites for photos and avoid currents. No drift diving.
The trip is Bali to Bima, Sumbawa. Includes diving Komodo and Rinca, a chance to see Komodo Dragons (if you want). We depart from Bali the morning of July 19 and return by Bima to Bali at 12:25pm July 31.
You must be an experienced diver to join this trip. Being a photographer or videographer is not necessary, but please be aware that many in the group will be taking photos. This trip is not on our website. Please email for details:

 Welcome to 2010!
2009 was a tough year for dive shops & travel. Many of our returning and new clients had to cancel their trips due to the uncertain status of the economy. I think we are all looking forward to a better year in 2010 with more diving in these exotic destinations we love.
I try always to make City Seahorse charters & trips a great value. I've kept our dive trip prices the same since 2008. Our limited participation trips cost approximately the same as other trips that carry full loads of divers - but we get lots more dives, more time underwater and more personal attention. I can and do organize specialty trips for dive clubs, photo clubs and other groups. Contact me for details.

This month I calculated the number of day I've spent diving Raja Ampat. Only 3 days short of one full year! It is such wonderful diving that I'm seldom tempted to try other destinations. Some of our clients feel the same. In 2010 we have some clients returning to Raja Ampat with us for the 6th and 7th times since 2004! There are now a lot of ships and dive operators in Raja Ampat. I believe we provide a superior trip because we know the area, work hard to get our divers into the most productive situations and work as a team with the ship's crew. Many of the crew have been with us now for 6 years.
