As usual these 2010 trips will have maximum 12 guests, extra guides and supply as much freedom & flexibility with the diving, photography & video ops as we can manage. I'm keeping the same prices as for 2009 trips and offering free Nitrox to our repeat guests.
Much of the SMY Ondina crew is still there, Captain Alan, Mesak, Udin, etc. and I expect to have the same special dive guides and assistants. Year 11 in Raja Ampat!
The Raja Ampat, Sorong-Sorong, trips are still the best in my opinion. I could do several of them every year without getting tired of them. Always my favorite over the one-way trips.

I just returned this week from almost two months in Indonesia and our three back to back dive cruises. Many of the divers on the trips told me that it was the best dive trip they had ever made; how much they appreciated the freedom and being treated like adults and how well organized the ship and trips are for photography. Always glad to hear those comments!
I'll be adding a trip report to my website and posting it to some forums soon. Highlights of this year's Oct-Dec trips for me were: - Unbelievable interactions with mantas coming so close over the photographers that Richard heard a manta tail scrape across his dome port. The resulting photo is unusual and quite unique (can't wait to see his gallery!). Includes video of Richard's "thumbs up"following that pass and of Ross totally on his back in the sand with only his tank on the bottom, feet and camera only two feet from the manta above. Not that I can tease Ross about that too much - see the photo of me doing the same above. Two different trips!
- Schools of glassfish & golden sweepers hiding down among the corals while being attacked by a school of trevally. I positioned myself right in the middle of them and played chicken with the trevally. Good video! Those trevally can really dodge a video port.
- The large Wobbegong Shark that swam underneath me while I was shooting a waspfish at night. Yeeow!! + the cooperative Wobby that swam for my video in daylight.
- Mike's manta photo.. Richard's manta photo.. Mark's fisheye coral photo & B&W's.
- Gerry tied to a rock and .......
- Hsin's photo of a Raja Ampat Epaulette Shark (a.k.a. the "walking shark") with a BRO (Blue Ring Octopus) sitting on its head! Really.. NOT Photoshopped.

If you want to join me on of these trips, let me know ASAP and reserve a space. P.S. Dollar is low.. good time for divers outside the USA to get on one of these trips. tours@cityseahorse.com Guaranteed single cabins are sold out for the Nov 25 - Dec 6 trip, but I still have one for Nov 11. Double share available on either trip.
Divers from the last trips were practically begging me to edit some of my video and put it online or on a DVD for them. I promised to try.
